Last night we went out to Maynard MA to visit our friends Nikki and John.. we don't get to see them as much as we used to now that they live out in eastern mass.. but we love them and we love their place too and their two amazing cats. It was a so nice, John's sister Nicole came over and made a wonderful soup of all veggies and Nikki made a feast with roast veggies, mashed potatoes, a vegan roast and hot cider with rum... it was to die for!
John and Chris started a toasty solstice fire in the yard and we bundled up after dinner to go and watch the yule fire burn and throw into the fire our wishes. We just had a blast, and we didn't want to leave.
